In the heart of Vienna, the "Nako'sche Haus" stood on Fleischmarkt. The Greek merchant Christof Nako acquired the original two houses in 1793 and converted them into a single apartment building. The core of the old house is still preserved today.
Also the inscription above the third floor is testimony to the 18th century: "Transient is this house, but Joseph's posthumous fame never, he gave us tolerance, immortality gave it!"
These lines recall the Tolerance Patent issued by Joseph II in 1781. With it he granted free practice of religion for non-Catholic Christians. This jewel of Josephine architecture has been a listed building since 1974 - for this reason, the general renovation and roof extension in 1996 were carried out particularly gently, so that parts of the historic building could be preserved. The "Toleranzhaus" can also boast "Pawlatschengängen" in the large inner courtyard - this typically Viennese feature is a corridor construction that provides access to the apartments and offices.
Located in the center, the address benefits from the excellent infrastructure and public transport connections. The nearby surroundings offer a variety of possibilities - for example, local suppliers, but also inviting shopping streets are located in the immediate vicinity. Cultural institutions and several green spaces are also just a few minutes' walk away.
The office offers an incredibly efficient floor plan and currently features a spacious reception area and 7 offices.
The property underwent a general renovation by the landlord 1.5 years ago, i.e.: all windows and doors were reworked and the existing all-wood acacia parquet flooring was refinished.
In addition to a spacious kitchen and existing EDP cabling, the office also offers separate toilet groups for men and women, as well as a shower!
